Hello

Hello! I’m a new and passionate children’s book writer dedicated to telling the stories of migrant children from El Salvador who are growing up in the United States. As a first-generation American born to parents who emigrated from Central America in the 1970s, I’ve experienced the challenges of growing up between two cultures. While my journey came with its own struggles, I recognize that today’s children are facing far greater hardships—including the threat of detention and deportation, during this presidency.

 

My mission is to create stories that reflect their reality, celebrate their resilience, and offer hope, comfort, and cultural pride through characters they can relate to—like Pedro and his magical pupusa.
